Getting Started on Your Site
-
Gather all of the information and photos that you want on your site. This is generally the most time-consuming step and being unprepared can greatly delay the release of your site.
-
Have a general idea of how you want your site organized. We will help with this process, but only you have the knowledge of how your company, and therefore your site, should be run. A flowchart is a good way to outline the structure of your site.
-
Decide what the main use of your site will be. Will customers need to place orders through your site, or will they mostly be looking for information? Does your site need to be updated with new content every day, or is the information generally static? The answer to these questions will heavily impact the way we design your site.
-
Determine any time or budget constraints. This will help to prevent problems from arising in the middle of site design, and it will help us to set a timeline for site completion.
